Hoplite Reenactment

Historic reenacting covers many periods, and Chris is getting interested in the world of the Greek Hoplite. There are many Greek Hoplite groups all over the world and any one of them can give the reader a solid grounding in the camp life of the Classical or Hellenistic Greek soldier. The 2500th anniversary of the Battle of Marathon is fast approaching! An anniversary reenactment is being planned for a site close to the historic battlefield.
